I followed a simple recipe that provides for 1 lt. alcohol (of course you can also make half):
10 lemons
750 gr. sugar
1.2 lt. Water
few leaves early lemon
First step: you clean the lemons, taking care, after washing, to take the skin surface without the white (this is essential, as is the outer skin to have all essential oils which erupted in alcohol) and soak in a large jar, which in addition to alcohol, will contain lemon leaves.
is left to rest in the dark for 6 days.
Second phase: the past six days, we prepare the sugar syrup (sugar and water) and allow to cool. From the jar, take off the leaves, husks, and joins the first liquid, which has rested for 6 days (longer rest than the aroma of essential oils is enhanced) in syrup, to filter through into the bottle (of course for the complete recipe, they serve different).
It will take some time, since the liquid at this stage, it is very dense.
Once you have the bottle, let stand for 2 months (third phase), filter for the last time at the end of this time and is kept in the refrigerator or freezer.
